Stuart Varney did a short segment today on why the media was so intensely hostile toward Trump’s performance at the G20 meeting:

Varney explains that Trump is not bending toward the Europeans and thus the media is apoplectic, meaning the media and the elites want to make the US more like Europe, just as Obama was trying to do, but Trump is now pushing back on some of that:
If you don’t want America to be more like Europe, if you don’t want America to bend their way, then President Trump is doing the right thing!
He is leading – he may be alone, but he’s pointing in the right direction, the American direction.
Especially on Climate Change, Mr. Trump has pulled out of a very bad agreement. In doing so, he has exposed Europe’s pathetic cave-in to the Greens.
On defense spending, he’s exposed Europe’s inability to defend itself. He’s trying to lead them out of their own weakness.
On open borders, he’s said ‘enough, we’re gonna control who comes in and you should do the same you Europeans.’
Hard to disagree with him on this front.
Now of course we could talk about other things like Obamacare, which Trump has a poor record on thus far.
But when it comes to these three issues so far Trump has been, as Varney suggests, pointing us back in the right direction.
