Accuracy in Media decided to carry Tea Party signs to the Occupy DC protests and discuss it with some of the protesters. Let’s just say the responses they got required a lot of ‘clean up’ editing:

I've actually met the blonde guy with the beard. We both do work for a youthbased Conservative activism group. yaf.org

Help us out!

As I see it, the difference between the Tea Party and OWS is one is trying to restore constitutional government; the other to destroy it.

Was just reading through to see if anyone else caught that.

The one thing that is keeping me from tweeting this out is the fact that there are egregious misspellings in the subtitles. It may seem like a small thing, but I know supporters of OWS are looking for any excuse to ignore common sense, as they have no other leg on which to stand.

Looked to me as if those peaceful protesters were on the verge of violence. I wonder if the Occupiers reaction would have been different if those Tea Partier's left the Union's are bad posters at home?

The worst thing to do is for both protest groups to show up on the streets. One side will be violent, and I think it will give Obama the green light to take action as they will all be viewed as a collective group of protest.

God Bless China for doing its part to undermine Unions

Then why are Republicans attempting to campaign on Libertarian principles? Oh wait, that's what they always do. Campaign as Libertarians in order to get elected, then just revert to the status quo once in office...

And they did all that in just an hour. Glenn Beck is right. These people are dangerous radicals. Do not dismiss them as kooks.

I really wish we could give these protestors the whole state of California. Can you imagine the disaster zone that would create. Would be great to get rid of all the free loaders and deadbeats polluting the other 56 states, not having to pay welfare to all the new citizens of California would shore up every other states budget right quick. however, it would cause alot of suffering when everyone starts to starve inside the peoples state of Cali.

Its a bit of an immature thought, but I wish there was someplace we could give them so they to try out all their loony ideas without hurting the rest of us. Maybe then they would realize the error of their ways and grow up.

A lot of conservatives still live in California, myself one of them. We are trying to fight the good fight, but we are outnumbered. Please don't dump more on us--we have more than enough.

Me too! I live here in SoCal (going to college...gasp) and it really is intimidating! I am not the type to ever be silent on political issues, ans I find myself dancing the thin, fine line between speaking my side and getting dropped from class. These liberal "professors" really personify liberalism in general, in that if you counter there "prophesy" with real-world examples showing the class how retarded they really are, they will drop you from the class in a heart beat. Generalizations are key!

But, I digress! I am a conservative in California, and we really need SUPPORT out here! There are a lot of closet conservatives, as well as apolitical young people that are being HERDED to the Democrat party (California gives pretty much EVERYONE free college education, thus, free liberal indoctrination).

Well, if these protesters are the Tea Party's enemies, we don't need friends. What a bunch of fools.

The CATO institute provided an interesting Venn diagram this morning showing the overlap between what the Tea Party was originally about (before it was silently hijacked and integrated into the Republican party) and the main focus of Occupy Wall Street.

CATO: "Tea Party, Meet Occupy Wall Street. OWS, Tea Party"
