Ted Cruz pissed off a ton of people, mostly other politicians, when he called Mitch McConnell a liar on the floor of the Senate.

Ted Cruz caught a lot of crap over this, but he’s right – it was all about congressional rules, and NOT whether he was actually right about what he said. And that, in itself, is an admission that he was right. Maybe that’s why politicians are doing so poorly this cycle – they care about their damn rules than they care about the truth.
