Ted Cruz said today on Happening Now that Obama seems more upset that Republicans are calling for protecting this country than he is that ISIS terrorist murdered 129 people in Paris. He said instead of waging political warfare against he and other Republicans, Obama should do his job as Commander-in-Chief.
Cruz further pointed out the fact that while Obama wants to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees into this country, his very own FBi director admitted they had no way of vetting these people.
He added that the Christians in the Middle East are in a qualitatively different perspective, pointing out that they are a small minority that is facing genocide at the hands of ISIS terrorists and only three percent of the Syrian refugees have been Christians. Cruz then asks this:
Why does the president get so angry at those of us who want to help provide a safe haven for Christians being persecuted but he’s not angry at ISIS terrorists? He won’t even call them radical Islamic terrorists. Instead he defends them and I think that’s really backwards.
