Ted Nugent talks about his soon-to-be appearance at the SOTU tonight and how he’s gonna take on the media tsunami and dominate them with facts. Yeah, he’s not that modest, but he’s right and it should be fun to watch:

I’m proud that Ted is going and not backing down… I love this guy and have for decades.

Imagine if we had more politicians who were as brave and truthful as Ted is.

    • toongoon

I’d like to see the Nuge head up the Republican party.

      • Sober_Thinking

Lol… could you see Boehner try and put Ted in the back of the bus?

        • nosilasunny

We would need that on video!

          • Sober_Thinking

Get Project Veritas on it! :)

        • tvlgds

Never happen. Rosa Parks is one of Ted’s heroines!

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005042048106 Don McIrvin

I would pay to see that

    • ChesterWalton

So much for following Jindal’s advice and ditching the “stupid party” label.

      • Sober_Thinking

If you’re implying that having Ted Nugent there as a guest makes Republicans stupid… I’d like to counter that and say to have children from the Newtown shooting there as props is gross and pathetic.

        • ChesterWalton

When a Republican pulls a stunt like this I get more a more convinced that some in the GOP are trying to fracture the party and create a permanent democrat party majority. This Stockman congressman is trying to get cheap publicity and, more importantly, more dough from the NRA for his next election in two years.

          • Sober_Thinking

Well, the party is already fractured. There are the establishment (liberal) Republicans and then the conservative ones (2010 Freshman class for instance). Until these establishment RINOs leave, the GOP is impotent at best and doomed for certain – and it’s the RINOs who guarantee a permanent Democrap party majority.

And the stunt Obama and the Demoncrats are pulling is seriously worse. They are lying to America and using victims to do it. Sickening.

While I admit, Ted Nugent can be extravagant while making his valid points, he is free to use his celebrity status to help America – and he is helping America. I also feel he is spot on with his points. He’s a patriot who loves his country… you can’t fault him for that.

And I’m against all lobbies and corporate involvement in politics. However, the NRA is one of the good ones and I don’t fault them for being involved since the precedent has already been set by liberals.

If you fear that Ted is going to embrass himself or the Republicans, I wouldn’t worry about that. If you feel he already has, well, I disagree.

            • ChesterWalton

              well put!

              • Sober_Thinking

                Thank you.

    Go Uncle Ted!

  • Rshill7

Lefties in our local paper calling Ted Nugent a “draft dodger” this morning. My response:

Why is it when lefties, not only got draft deferments, but actually aided and abetted the enemy, they are spoken of as brave, strong, peacenick, heroes, etc. but when conservatives get deferments, they are cowardly scum? Any of you non-commies out there notice that? Any non-commies out there? Here’s a little something for the commies then: Baaaaaaa.

Two Presidential terms for Ted Nugent are in order. You know, just to separate the namby from the pamby, which, as we have already seen below, there’s a 100% chance of today.

Obama should invite, as his guests, 20 million unemployed folks, the number-crunchers at Standard and Poor’s, any living relatives of Marx and Engels, and a talented bugle player to perform a haunting rendition of Taps.

I’d rather carve a birch canoe with a spoon, or bite the barnacles from the bottom of a barge than listen to anything O’ has to say. Picking out truths from any of his teletubby talks is like an impossible scavenger hunt, where the only thing hidden but not found is truth. He should just look up, point out the circling buzzards, resign, and call it a night, thus ending the nightmare.

    • las1

      Obama the teleprompter teletubby.

It’s not hard to figure out what his favourite colour would be, now would it?

That picture reminds me of this: Start at the 7 minute mark :-)

        Know what I mean?

        • las1

Yeah… OZero really believes he’s the Sun King.

    • anneinarkansas

You mention your local paper. We live in an overall conservative area. Our local paper is owned by Gannett….they are constantly annoying to residents.

Back when we were getting our Tea Pary off the ground, I think in 2009, we had several large rallies, one a packed to standing only football stadium. The paper ignored us..and again at the Fair Grounds and other places.

      Frustrating!

    • badbadlibs

With your fabulous way with words, I’m so glad you at least are published in your local newspaper and the left gets a valid, oh so called for ear full! :)
      Thank you.

    • tvlgds

Ted is NOT a draft dodger, did not crap his pants to get out of being drafted, or any of the other ridiculous stories the loons put out. He had a deferment like many others. He’s also very pro military and does a tremendous amount of good for our troops!

Explain why the physical he finally took states that he was
        “unfit to serve”.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Wes-Baggett/1412674313 Wes Baggett

Ted crapped in his pants for days before his induction physical, chjeck it out, Detroit Free Press with Ted Nugent, google it, He’s a pants crapping coward, and am ADMITTED pedophile, you sure have a low bar for heroes

      • Rshill7

        GTH Pig.

  • Amjean

I bet the media has already been given their marching orders to ignore him.

    • Rshill7

Seems like they’d prefer to goad him into saying something Cat Scratch feverish, so they can call him a crazy contagion.

      • Amjean

You are right. He probably will say something they can use to make fun of
and they will mock him 24/7. Anything he says that is truthful they will
        ignore.

I noticed how Palin was treated by the repubs and dems during the 2012
election. They pretty much ignored her.

        • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

We all say stuff they try to mock. No one cares anymore. This is war.

Ted is the leader to lead a peaceful rebellion

Well spoken and committed and respected

  • physicsnut

    oh but ThinkProgress says
1, there is no spending problem (doncha know)
    2. amnesty leads to economic growth
    3. extreem weather due to climate change
    4. lgbt is great
    5. need “gun safety” regulations
    6 reduce nuclear stockpile
    – that is what they say you need to know in order to grasp
the baloney you will hear tonite, ie the demagogue and his minions and their dog and pony show.

    • las1

      3. extreme weather asteroids due to climate change

  • NHConservative0221

Ted is on Beck right now!!

  • 12grace

I love Ted Nugent. He is truthful and brave.

    • martha chandler

I would have liked to have seen it, but I just can’t watch the communist propaganda.
I can’t listen to BO’s lies. Turns my stomach.

      • proudhispanicconservative

        Me too!!!

  • badbadlibs

Mr. Nuggent had me at “I love this country”, but when he said he ate live coyotes, I’d follow him anywhere!
A dirty rotten coyote killed our beloved Chihuahua :(

  • Garry

I was going to ignore the SOTU address, as it will likely be full of lies just like Obama’s other speeches, but I will likely now watch the interviews afterward to catch Ted demolish the speech with the facts. Thanks Steve Stockman for inviting Ted to the House Floor!

  • http://twitter.com/ZeitgeistGhost Middle Class Warrior

LOL sure they are. Like anyone but a died in the wool teabagger would care what a draft dodging, child molesting poacher has to say. I’m glad you have such a disgusting has been for your spokesmen. He will be mocked by the country, besides for the few RWNJ ideologues (you guys)

    • http://boogieforward.us/ K-Bob

Wow, is this guy obsessed with homophobic insults, or what?

This is your low-information voter, folks. And by the way, “low-information” is a kind way of saying “uneducated.” Even the leftist researchers tell us over and over that lack of education leads to sick-minded hatred like we see with this lost soul.

      Pity him.

      • DebbyX

It’s sin against patriotic warriors that he calls himself a warrior!

        What a loser.

  • http://twitter.com/ZeitgeistGhost Middle Class Warrior

I bet all you ‘tough guys’ aren’t going to watch the SOTU, that’ll show em… how uninformed and gullible you are. Fox and KKKRush will just tell you what to ‘think’. Y’all are born followers who kowtow to your ‘authorities’, fox, am radio, wnd,…

  • Yazz55

The media is reporting that Ted Nugent will be there…to prop up their ratings.

  • Artemus Gordon

Nugent is a windbag. Brave and truthful. Get a life.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/T5E33I5KEK52FZAQUO5L6HND4E Herewe Goagain

I wish him luck, but I predict he will come off badly.
