Texas student suspended for saying homosexuality is wrong

This is almost unbelievable and most certainly outrageous. Dakota, a 14 year-old high school student was conversing with a friend when he said that he believed homosexuality is wrong. The teacher apparently overheard him saying it and sent him to the principal’s office. Thus he was suspended for two days, but then it was reduced to one after the Assistant Principal heard Dakota’s explanation.

I find it odd that they would have suspended him at all before hearing Dakota’s explanation, but even so, it’s what could easily be called religious discrimination. To punish someone for a religious belief is something that happens in places like Communist China, not here in America.

I hope that Dakota sues the pants off this school and the principal that suspended him gets fired.
