Well, to be honest, it wasn’t everyone’s verdict that Sarah Palin can’t beat Hillary Clinton in a presidential race. Greg Gutfeld said he believes Palin could beat Hillary. But he was quickly met with NO WAY from 2 righties on the show.

I would expect Bob to be in sharp disagreement with Greg, but both Dana and Andrea were so quick with NO that it did surprise me a little. No hesitancy whatsoever in their voices. OK, that’s fine if they believe that, but must we joke you’d have to be drunk to think that Palin could beat Hillary? C’mon now, that’s a little offensive.
Look, I do believe Palin could beat Hillary, but that’s just a gut feeling. She’s very articulate, witty, funny, lovable, and strong. And she’s one badass conservative. She would excite the base and the people who stayed home in 2012 would turn out. And I believe a lot more. The message of conservatism sells when it’s sold properly.
But truthfully, it wouldn’t be easy. The media has had a field day disparaging Palin from the get-go (circa 2008) and they treat Hillary Clinton like she’s sitting at the right-hand of Obama who is on the throne in Heaven.
That said, to rule her out so quickly is foolish. And I certainly wouldn’t joke that you’d have to be drunk to believe one way or he other. Yeah, still offended by that.
