‘The Nick of Time’: Terrorists Busted in Paris Wednesday Were About to Strike Again

Investigation has revealed that the terrorists who were taken down last night in a pitched gun battle and hours long police raid were, in fact, planning another terror attack in Paris. The Paris police were too smart for them, however, and tracked them down swiftly, catching them unaware. So unaware, in fact, that one of them was literally caught with his pants down, according to the New York Post.

Police tell the Post that those apprehended or killed were part of a fourth terror cell and were preparing to unleash more death and destruction.

The raid resulted in the collapse of an entire floor of the apartment building, where authorities found body parts, the source told CNN.

The terrorists in the apartment were planning a strike at the Paris airport and the Mall of Quatre Temps in La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine), according to France 2.

Police were seen escorting away a man who was naked from the waist down, and another wrapped in a gold emergency blanket.

The raid, which ended with two casualties and seven arrests, may have taken out the mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud. Delightfully, DNA evidence will be required to determine if his are among the remains.

With more arrests, multiple airport close calls, and even additional attacks since the events of Friday the 13th, Paris is still in a state of emergency and the world is still on high alert.

But of course, as Obama is happy to tell foreign audiences, it was just a “setback.”
