Evangelical leader Franklin Graham seemed to toss a rebuke to the Donald with this tweet:
There’s only one who can #MakeAmericaGreatAgain & that’s God. But that won’t happen unless we turn from sin & call on Him in the name Jesus.

It was in the context of his biblical slapdown to the Home Depot employee who wore a hat reading “America Was Never Great.”
The other day I saw a picture of a girl wearing a hat that said “America was never great.” https://t.co/CQC6konhYB

Here’s his post on Facebook:
I think I agree with this a thousand percent. It struck me how Ted Cruz was depending on an Evangelical firewall against Trump and it completely collapsed. Unfortunately our country is becoming less and less religious, and when a community loses its faith, it leaves itself vulnerable to false leaders. Graham seemed to be trying to avoid being overtly political, but it’s hard to believe that a truly faithful person would be happy about where our country is today, and where it’s headed. Get to prayin’, people.
