In a really remarkable and shocking interview, CNN interviews a young boy who was held captive by ISIS but has come around to their way of thinking because, as he puts it, they only target “infidels” and that’s ok by him.

The Syrian Kurdish boy admits that they beat him, and forced him and other children to watch videos of beheadings, and even electrocuted and killed people in front of them. Despite this, somehow he’s been indoctrinated to believe they are right, because they only target infidels, and they carry the “flag of Allah.”
Let’s hope he’s not representative of the people we’re coming to the rescue of in the region.
