Last night I was thinking that the Robertsons were probably all huddled together at the Robertson home ignoring their cellphones as they discussed what happened and how they would proceed.
NOPE.
Phil was actually at church, praying for a woman who has cancer:

Pastor Mike Kellett tells us … Robertson didn’t even MENTION the TV show or the suspension
— it was all about the sick woman.Pastor Mike dodged our question — whether Phil’s a homophobe — saying, “Phil is doing his best to follow God’s word. He always treats people with love and respect.”
And this is why we love Phil Robertson. The man is who he is and he’s not going to let some ‘yuppie’ wreak havoc in his life or shake him in the least. He’s going to keep doing what he feels God wants him to do and let the rest of the world obsess about it.
