In a press conference Friday, Tony Stewart spoke out about the accident he was involved in that took the life of another race car driver’s life.

I think some might take exception to his comments, as he’s now saying he took a few weeks off in deference and respect to the family of Kevin Ward, the driver he accidentally killed, but there were reports that he was going to race the very next day after the accident. It seemed only after some public anger that he decided to not race.
