Jake Tapper really pushed Tillerson to admit if he called Trump a moron or not, and he would just not answer. So then Tapper asked him about Senator Corker’s statement that Trump had “castrated” Tillerson.
Tillerson shocked Tapper with his answer:
UHMMMM… OK THEN.
Tillerson was trying very hard to make it appear as if there’s absolutely no daylight between himself and Trump. But that’s really hard to believe given Trump’s intemperate tantrums, the ridiculous turnover rate in the administration, and all the reports leaked to the press.
I think he’s on the way out.
