CNN is reporting that Senate Democrat and former Hillary running mate, Tim Kaine, is already suggesting that Trump Jr. should be investigated for treason:
It’s one thing to suggest Trump Jr. shoulds be investigated to see if he’s lying about anything – considering he lied already – and to suggest there could be something more there that we need to find out. But to jump straight to treason like this nasty Democratic buffoon is just stupidity on steroids.
CNN reporter Manu Raju reports in the clip above that other Democrats won’t go this far, and they’d be smart not to.
And in another segment I heard on CNN, even Jeffrey Toobin suggests that the accusation of treason is ‘ridiculous’ and this would never go anywhere near that.
He also pointed out that collusion itself isn’t a crime, but that accepting a thing of value from a foreign government is and that should be looked into.
My own feeling is that the effect of these new revelations may be politically damaging for Trump, but as of now I don’t see anything emerging that will amount to a crime. Unless they can prove that Donald Trump Jr. accepted something of value from a foreign government, I don’t see this going anywhere legally.
But now the MSM and Democrats have something, the ‘intent to collude’ by Trump Jr., and they are certainly running full steam with that as evidenced by the moron Tim Kaine.
