CNN reports that the US has taken out a #2 ISIS senior leader in Syria that goes by the name Haji Imam. However CNN reports that this wasn’t done by an air strike but by US troops on the ground:
Normally these high profile hits are somewhat interesting, but generally they mean very little because the ISIS jihad continues unabated. If the Obama administration wants to impress us, then announce that they’ve killed 5,000 ISIS members with a battlefield nuke or some other big explosive.
