SO Jake Tapper posted an odd tweet today affirming that the White House cancelled a scheduled interview with national security advisor John Bolton on Sunday.
Update: @AmbJohnBolton had been locked in for tomorrow’s @CNNSOTU. Then the president attacked CNN during his UK presser, and our WH correspondent tried to ask a question. We are told Amb. Bolton remains fully prepared to do the interview but the White House has canceled it.

Now I didn’t post this earlier because I wondered just what the heck was going on. Well now we know – the White House is pissed off at Jim Acosta.
Actually a @CNN reporter disrespected @POTUS & PM May during their press conf. Instead of rewarding bad behavior, we decided to reprioritize the TV appearances for administration officials. https://t.co/58LaJH6WaD

Clearly she’s talking about how Trump refused to take a question from Jim Acosta the day before.
Here’s the video of that:
So are they done with CNN? I mean to be honest I think both sides are at fault here – the White House is way too sensitive about reporters asking questions, and Acosta is WAY too eager to eat up the spotlight and be a noble victim for the glorious cause of journalistic attacks on Trump. BUT it also wouldn’t be that big a deal if they revoked CNN’s White House credentials – as long as most other news outlets are there, so what? We shall see how much Trump wants to amp up this feud…
