Trump is now lashing out at the media for the ‘bad’ coverage he believes he’s been getting over raising money for Veterans groups earlier this year:

Honestly, this is crap. If Trump had raised the 6 million like he said, it should have been paid out a long time ago. But instead, it’s been a constant battle from those in the media get full disclosures on any of this. Different media outlets have called around trying to add up all the donations actually given to groups, and it always comes up well short of the 6 million.
Then we find out last week that they didn’t actually raise 6 million, that it was closer to 4.5 million.
And now Trump suggests the ‘dishonest and disgusting media’ is being unfair to him by trying to verify all of this? Poppycock!
Trump should have been transparent from the get-go on all of this and paid out what he said he raised. He’s the reason this has become an issue. If he had handled it appropriately, this wouldn’t even be an issue.
