Last weekend Mark Levin discussed the destructive Obama-Biden “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule” (AFFH rule) on his Sunday show, suggesting it was one of his most important shows ever. Well it appears Trump saw it and took action to eliminate the rule and announced it on Twitter:
I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood…

…Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!

Wow that was a fast turnaround!
Trump also took a shot at Fox News again today, claiming they forgot ‘who’ got them where they are today:
I was on Air Force One flying to the Great State of Texas, where I just landed. It is AMAZING in watching @FoxNews how different they are from four years ago. Not even watchable. They totally forgot who got them where they are!

I hate to disagree with the President, but for as long as I’ve been in this business Fox News has always been the dominant leader in cable news, especially during prime time. I don’t think he got them where they are today to be honest.
Trump’s latest tweets are on Portland, and on this I can’t disagree with him:
If the Federal Government and its brilliant Law Enforcement (Homeland) didn’t go into Portland one week ago, there would be no Portland — It would be burned and beaten to the ground. If the Mayor and Governor…

…do not stop the Crime and Violence from the Anarchists and Agitators immediately, the Federal Government will go in and do the job that local law enforcement was supposed to do!

There’s no doubt that the federal courthouse would be destroyed and who knows how much more of Portland would look like Minneapolis does today. Thankfully, Portland has agreed to send officers downtown to try and stop the riots, so we’ll see what happens. But Trump is right, they are weak, and I suspect in the end they’ll have to do a lot more to stop this chaos.
