Trump attempts to explain what he shared with the Russians…

Trump took to Twitter this morning to try and explain what he shared with the Russians in his meeting with them a week ago:

Regardless of which classified intel was shared, Trump claims he has the right to share it. But he is admitting to sharing classified intel, which is what the Washington Post claimed.

I think we’re going to hear more about this today, as McMaster will be at the podium during the White House briefing.

Trump also used the scandal to further his point about his firing of Comey, who reportedly refused to go after the leakers:

In terms of the actual story here… I’m not a huge fan of McMasters at this point, but he does seem like someone who takes his job and intelligence very seriously and if he was in the room and he says nothing bad happened, then it’s hard for me to dispute his credibility.

But I also get what the media are suggesting, that the mere revelation of the intel alone may show where it came from without sources and methods being discussed. So while they didn’t discuss the sources and methods, maybe they didn’t have to for an ally who initially got the intel to be revealed. And that is a valid point.

So…I don’t know. I tend to think the people in the room have more credibility than the leaks, especially given how some of the leaks this year that have plagued Trump’s campaign were from Obama people who were out to destroy Trump.

I guess we’ll see what happens today.

But I just have one question. If the media didn’t really care about Obama sponsoring terrorism via giving Iran billions of dollars with which to sponsor terrorism, then why do they have their panties in a wad over this?
