Trump surrogate Scottie Hughes went on CNN to claim that Trump cancelled his event in New Hampshire because he was sooooo concerned about the safety of the voters. It definitely wasn’t because it was an inconvenience for him, no no no. Of course not.
Watch below:
Now he didn’t mention this when he announced he was canceling the event:
Big storm in New Hampshire. Moved my event to Monday. Will be there next four days.

She also said that it was irresponsible for other candidates to hold their events in the snow. She doesn’t think much of New Hampshire residents’ resilience.
Lots of people are pointing out that this exactly the kind of stuff that dooms a candidate in New Hampshire. Whether it’s fair or not, they expect you to trudge out in the snow to meet with them and shake their hands. This is especially odd after everyone recognizes that Trump lost in Iowa because of a lack of ground game, which includes the candidate actually showing up instead of sending tweets and videos from the comfort of his New York penthouse. And just to cap it off, she denigrated the voters in Iowa just the day after the caucus.
And as she does so often, she took the high road with this definitely not a cheap-shot at Jeb’s mom:

Probably the classiest presidential campaign in American history.
