Last night Trump revealed that he was donating a significant portion of his presidential salary to Homeland Security.
He tweeted out a photo of a check made out to the Department of Homeland Security and the sum was $100,000:

If I didn’t do it there would be hell to pay from the FAKE NEWS MEDIA!”
He is right that the mainstream media doesn’t like to cover it. If he hadn’t tweeted it out, I’m not sure that most of us would even know.
In January, the White House revealed that Trump donated another quarter of his paycheck to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, according to KTVU.
Trump declared in 2016 that he wouldn’t take a salary and has been donating it since he’s been in office.
