Trump had A LOT to say this morning…

Trump fired off almost 10 tweets this morning on various topics. I’m not sure if that’s a record for him or not, but it should be close.

His first tweet was in support of the people of Iran and against Iran’s corrupt terrorist government. He also took a well-deserved swipe at Obama:

He then went after Huma Abedin, calling on the Justice Department to ‘finally act’ on her as well as Comey:

It’s hard for me to get used to the idea of Trump calling on his own Justice Department to prosecute people via Twitter. I get that he’s trying to let the Justice Department do things as it sees fit without ordering them to do all these things directly, but it’s just weird. On one hand I’m glad he’s not using the DOJ as his personal attack machine. But on the other hand I would think his tweets still have some influence on his DOJ, especially considering some of them work at his pleasure. Yeah, I’ll probably never get used to it.

Next Trump tweeted a couple of what I would call miscellaneous tweets:

He then opined about N. Korea’s latest move on talks with S. Korea, suggesting that sanctions are having a big impact:

Trump also took credit for there being no airline deaths in 2017:

Trump took two tweets to make an appeal to (or troll) the new publisher of the NY Times:

And lastly, Trump derided Democrats for….well, just being Democrats:

I like Trump’s positive thinking, however this seems reminiscent of Trump saying in 2016 that he’d get most latinos and hispanics to vote for him. We see how that worked out. But hey, it’s still a good message to put out there even if it’s not the most artful or effective message.
