Trump has a new White House Communications Director

Trump has reportedly picked a new White House Communications Director, Mike Dubke:

It’s interesting because he founded Crossroads Media, which you’ve heard about because of Karl Rove who co-founded American Crossroads, their parent group. According to Wikipedia, “Crossroads Media is a media services company that serves American Crossroads.”

Breitbart is puzzled by the move:

The decision to bring in Dubke is puzzling, as he is not just any Rove confidante. In 2001, he actually founded one of Rove’s main firms, Crossroads Media, LLC—a media firm that provides services to Rove’s American Crossroads. He is still listed on the Rove firm’s website as a founder of the outfit.

President Trump is very suspicious of Rove and his acolytes and has made that point clear for years now. In an interview with Breitbart News back in April 2016, the now-President of the United States said that Rove is a “is such a dishonorable guy” that he “shouldn’t be allowed to write for the Wall Street Journal.”

Whatever the reason Trump is choosing Dubke, whether it be from pressure by Priebus and Spicer or simply because Trump likes to show how magnanimous he is by reaching out to people who didn’t like him, I’m sure he’ll get along just fine with Trump because the White House is apparently where everyone likes to be these days, no matter how they felt during the campaign.
