It is truly stunning just how bad Ben Carson is as Donald Trump’s surrogate, and he added to his legendary resume by making another bone-headed comment that only made sense in his head.

It says a lot about Donald Trump that his children are such delightful people, even though they were raised with the “disadvantage” of being very wealthy, Ben Carson said Thursday.
“All of the Trump children are absolutely delightful people. And I think that speaks volumes about the man,” he said, referring to the GOP nominee.
“Anybody who can raise children, particularly in the environment they came up in, which I think is a disadvantaged environment. Because I know a lot of people who are very rich and their kids are so spoiled, and I think it’s a disadvantage. I really do,” he added.

Now yes, it’s difficult to raise kids that aren’t spoiled when you’re wealthy, but it’s also very very difficult to raise kids that don’t have a MILLION other different problems when you’re NOT wealthy. There’s just no comparison!! And how do we know they’re NOT spoiled? Is that something that comes up in a speech at the Republican convention? This whole line of thinking is abjectly absurd, which is why it’s a perfect topic of conversation for Ben Carson, the worst campaign surrogate…. ever.
