Trump warned today that Bernie Sanders is pushing very hard for single payer healthcare, just as he says he predicted if Republicans couldn’t come together on repealing Obamacare:
Bernie Sanders is pushing hard for a single payer healthcare plan - a curse on the U.S. & its people...

...I told Republicans to approve healthcare fast or this would happen. But don't worry, I will veto because I love our country & its people.

Trump calls single payer a curse on the country and says he will veto it…because he loves you!
Of course that would have to mean that Republicans would have to help pass the bill to send it to Trump’s desk and I just don’t see that happening. In fact last time I checked there were only about 12 vocal proponents of single payer right now.
Don’t get me wrong, many Dems would support it if they thought it had a chance of passing. But they know it’s just a distraction right now.
On the same topic, Trump slammed John McCain again for voting against the repeal of Obamacare:

He also argued that if Republicans can’t stick together he’s going to have to go across the aisle to get votes.
