Trump sings the praises of Ted Cruz!

Trump began today singing the praises of Ted Cruz and giving him his ringing endorsement:

Watched the debate last night & Beto O’Rourke, who wants higher taxes and far more regulations, is not in the same league with Ted Cruz & what the great people of Texas stand for & want. Ted is strong on Crime, Border & 2nd A, loves our Military, Vets, Low Taxes. Beto is a Flake!

Ted Cruz has done so much for Texas, including massive cuts in taxes and regulations – which has brought Texas to the best jobs numbers in the history of the state. He watches carefully over your 2nd Amendment. O’Rourke would blow it all! Ted has long had my Strong Endorsement!

Trump will hold a rally for Cruz next week at NRG arena in Houston on Oct 22, which is next Monday night:

A Trump campaign aid told the Dallas Morning News that it was biggest location available on Oct. 22. NRG Stadium next door, which can hold as many as 80,000, will still be recovering from hosting Monster Jam the previous weekend. Other venues, like the downtown Toyota Center, also have conflicting bookings. Toyota Center holds double what the NRG Arena does.

According to the latest poll by CNN, Cruz has a +7 point lead over Beta with just a few weeks to go among 716 likely voters. You can already tell the media is preparing people for a Beta loss:
