Last night Donald Trump hit back at Bill Kristol over the announcement that there would be a solid independent candidate running against Trump and Hillary:
Bill Kristol has been wrong for 2yrs-an embarrassed loser, but if the GOP can't control their own, then they are not a party. Be tough, R's!

The Republican Party has to be smart & strong if it wants to win in November. Can't allow lightweights to set up a spoiler Indie candidate!

If dummy Bill Kristol actually does get a spoiler to run as an Independent, say good bye to the Supreme Court!

Assuming Kristol isn’t just blowing hot air, this news must have made Hillary’s day, as the Republican Party continues to splinter. And Trump is right to object, as the likelihood of him winning with a strong independent candidate running is remote.
But Trump also isn’t trying to unify the party, and with the divisive campaign he ran to win, he really doesn’t have much room to talk (or object). It’s not like he’s a righteous man here. In fact he himself held the threat of an independent run over the Republican Party for the longest time. And had he lost the primary, he may have actually made that run.
Personally I hope Kristol is just trying to stir the pot and doesn’t have someone to run. If he does, and they are as good as he suggests, Trump is right about one thing: Goodbye Supreme Court. Hillary will make it the most leftist court we’ve ever seen.
