Cruz is right about this, of course, but it remains to be seen if Trump will follow through on his fiery speech against Obama’s normalization of Cuban relations. After all, he did it right before the election in order to seek the Cuban vote, and had earlier said he thought Obama’s normalization was great!!
Cruz goes on to speak about Trump’s team coming together, and says he is not going to “re-litigate the past” about his comments calling Trump utterly immoral. Finally, he demanded that the Obama admin not send any official to Castro’s funeral and compared him to other murderous Communist figures:
