UGH: Vatican agreement that officially recognizes Palestinian STATEHOOD now in full force

I understand the call for peace by the Pope, but backing the statehood of Palestine and a two-state solution is ridiculous and contrary to scripture:

REUTERS – An agreement signed last year making the Vatican’s de facto recognition of Palestine in 2012 official has come into effect, the Holy See said on Saturday.

The Vatican signed its first treaty with the “State of Palestine” last June when it called for moves to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and backed a two-state solution.

“… the Holy See and the State of Palestine have notified each other that the procedural requirements for (the accord’s) entry into force have been fulfilled, the Vatican said in a statement on Saturday.

The U.N. General Assembly adopted a resolution in 2012 recognizing Palestine as an observer non-member state. This was welcomed at the time by the Vatican, which has the same observer non-member status at the United Nations.

Has the Pope not read Joel 3?

“For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.

God can’t be more clear in scripture that dividing the land of Israel is against His will. The Pope needs to get right on this issue and quick.

The above passage from Joel is obviously referring to the nations of the Antichrist that invade Jerusalem and export half of the city into captivity as referred to in Zechariah 14. I’m not saying that the Pope will find himself in the Valley of Jehoshaphat being judged. But we know God’s heart on this issue and being on the side of dividing Israel is absolutely the wrong side.
