Considering that Pastor Saeed Abedini is an American citizen, the State Department has been very silent on his imprisonment in Iran over being a Christian. As you know, they had a hearing last week and the State Dept. didn’t even bother to show up. Now the ACLJ is giving the State Dept. until Friday to call for the release of Saeed Abedini from Iran, noting that members of Congress are also ready to take action in this vein.
