Jake Tapper has Kellyanne Conway on the ropes for most of this interview where he demands that she answer for Trump’s less than honest statements lately.
Here’s a short excerpt:
.@KellyannePolls has absolutely no answers for why Trump hasn't deleted or corrected tweet falsely claiming Obama failed to rescue American hostages ***who were actually taken hostage while Trump was president***

Conway doesn’t seem as aggressive with Tapper as she is with most interviewers. I think it’s because he’s better prepared and sticks to his topics. Still, she tries to deny answering questions by deflecting. For instance, when Tapper asks her about his false tweet, Conway says they’d rather focus on the hostages.
As everybody is aware, the past Administration has long been asking for three hostages to be released from a North Korean Labor camp, but to no avail. Stay tuned!

2 out of 3 of these hostages were detained in Trump presidency:
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) May 4, 2018
Tony Kim (aka Kim Sang-duk) detained 22 April 2017.
Kim Hak-song detained 6 May 2017.
An obvious and demonstrable lie in a tweet that remains up, a monument to how much President Trump doesn't care about truth. https://t.co/MgWR31I1E2
And she’s right, the hostages are more important than a dumb tweet. But the tweet is still false. Both things can be true, but in our insanely partisan atmosphere, we’re supposed to believe that one cancels out the other.
Here’s the entire interview, it’s entertaining if you’re into that sort of thing, which I am:
