In this week’s SNL cold open, Alec Baldwin was too sick to perform as President Trump because he was whining and protesting, so they had Vladimir Putin give a message to the American people.

I thought it was pretty funny, though it’s clearly designed to annoy the Donald, and glorify the dumb women’s protest. Still, I think the writing was clever. What do you think? You can check out more SNL cold open sketches here.
