By The Right Scoop is beginning a weekly feature entitled #WAR to remind and inspire us of Breitbart’s vision to make sure our voices are heard:

The first installment of #WAR features exclusive and never seen before footage shot in February 2010 at the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville. Speaking to friends Jim Hoft, Glenn Reynolds, Dana Loesch, and Evan Maloney, it was this conversation along with Andrew’s speech earlier in the evening that inspired the filmmakers to immediately begin work on what would eventually become the documentary: “Hating Breitbart.”

    Sorry, DP.

    • The Right Scoop

      what does that mean?

  • Whitewolf2009

Gone but not forgotten. RIP Mr. Breitbart. He fought the good fight and now we must do what we can with what we have.

    • Nukeman60

Well, said Whitewolf. Breitbart did indeed fight the good fight and he’s still fighting it today, in us. What we have to work with is what Breitbart gave us in his videos and his style. The battle is engaged and we will not lose. Thank you, Andrew Breitbart, for opening my eyes to reality.

  • Army_Pilot1967

Andrew Breitbart passed away much too young, and he is sorely missed by millions of people that love freedom. He was dismayed by the MSM’s antics in proping up liberals’ agendas through distortions and half-truths. Maybe another will step up and take Breitbart’s cause. Let’s hope so!

    • p m

AB is a true American hero. ‘Is’ because his spirit will never die.
We have taken up his cause, millions, not just one. You and me, Army_Pilot, and everyone posting here and telling friends the truth about the media.

    • pdxlady

I think he passed the torch to all of us, “We The People,” to step up and carry on his wonderful work and cause. He set the standard high, but gave us the example of what must be done. We are Breitbart!

Still too much mystery about his death for me (and then his coroner’s death by arsenic poisoning the day they announced the autopsy report, but I digress…).

      • BSScoop

I used to scoff, but I’m convinced AB was murdered. The elite are very, very powerful for a reason. Proof? Circumstantial, of course. It just doesn’t FEEL right.

God bless the Breitbart family in their loss.

        Don’t Tread On Me

        • pdxlady

And human life has no value to those powerful, if it advances their purposes, anyone is expendable. “The ends justify the means.”

        • MLCBLOG

Yup! I think it may have been a mistake to dine at Billy Ayers and Bernadine “Stick a Fork in it!” Dohrn’s house.

      • white531

I agree. There is a certain smell about it. I am reminded of JFK and how so many people died mysterious deaths within a year of his assassination. Dead men tell no tales.

      • Joe Labbe

I was just thinking the same thing. Say what you will about Andrew, but he was no dummy. He was ON to THEM. He knew it. They knew it. He exposed and embarrassed very powerful people who possess as close to absolute power as any of us could imagine and then some. I have no doubt that Axelrod and company have committed crimes to get their man elected before and will break the law to retain power in the future. No question of motive. These people, at this moment, are doing the very same things this time that got them elected last time. Andrew was ON to THEM. He would have been very, very well positioned to anticipate the tactics of the left and expose them again, and they knew it. Did they kill him to prevent it? It’s a stretch, but not as big a one as most people think.

  • Joe

Well – it looks like both are imploding

Maybe – He is working from above

Maybe Andrew is in charge of the media up there – That would be a hoot!

So I guess Andrew lives on – EH!

  • mediaaccess1

Good! I’m doing something similar here in Hungary – a much smaller effort with a much smaller budget, – and I’m alone. The fight continues, Breitbart lives!

  • LiveFreeOrDieTryin

    Breitbart got it!

  • Conservative_Hippie

I cannot stand in the same shoes as that man. What Andrew accomplished in his short time on earth for the cause of Freedom and Liberty is mind boggling! He will truly live on in our hearts! I’m so glad that is not wilting, but is standing strong for those same principles Andrew stood for!

  • CaseyGeorge

I never met the guy, but God do I miss his presence on the battlefield…he was a great warrior that left some gigantic shoes to fill

  • GreenBeretWay

Old soldiers never die. They come back with a vengeance.

  • Sober_Thinking

    I sure miss him.

  • Shelly Sands

I know I’ll start to cry if I watch this. He is sorely missed.

    • sybilll

It’s worth it Shelly. It hurt my heart, but yet was inspiring. I miss him so much.

      • Shelly Sands

I did watch it. How could I not? My eyes leaked. He gave his all for freedom.

    • marketcomp

I know Shelly Sands, he is missed! But what a fantastic legacy he left in such a short amount of time! That’s why I do not hesitate or mince words with liberals because I think they have single handedly help to destroy this country.

  • 3seven77

“The media is the wall that we have to climb over in order for our voices to be heard.”

I would alter just two words in Breitbart’s final sentence on that clip.

“The media is the wall that we have to DESTROY in order for our voices to be heard.”

  • Laurel

Our Founding Fathers told us to destroy the government when it becomes to draconian. I believe that begins with the media who has become their propaganda wing.

And people this has been so for decades. It didn’t just begin with Obama.

  • drphibes

  • Theconservativechic

His voice WILL be heard… My condolences still for his family & all who loved him.

What a fearless man he was…. As a catholic we pray for his soul.

  • Freempg

Has there been any further news on Los Angeles coronor technician Michael Cormier who died of arsenic poisoning within hours of the release of the preliminary autopsy report on Breitbart’s death? Didn’t think so.

    • JoeMontana16

What? Never heard this. Would you please elaborate cause I know nothing about it. Thanks.

  • white531

He had only just begun to see the beginnings of success toward his dream. The only way to honor his memory is to make sure his dream stays alive. Make it a tab at the top of your screen.

  • Janet

we must ALL be #andrewbreitbart…never give in…#apologizeforwhat?

  • greatj

I miss Andy because he would be kicking the leftists at M.S.N.B.C. asses right now.

  • proudhispanicconservative

There are many heroes in my life, Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin, Milton Friedman,Allen West, the military, etc and this guy is right there with all of them, because of his courage to take on the very damaging lame stream media, and his legacy will live on.

  • aZjimbo

The old media has destroyed itself. No need to worry Andrew.

  • FreeManWalking

    Thanks Scoop!

The Dreams and Desires of the Founding Fathers flowed in AB’s Blood. RIP Andrew…

Thank you. I have long been wanting to see some of this material.

  • JoeMontana16

This is proof that common sense is actually genius. Its the media. They are the force field for progressives and all that’s wrong with this country. You break the media and the entire thing crumbles.

  • bobemakk

When Andrew Breitbart died he had a lot of innuendos against Obama, what happened to them? Something fishy happened here. Andrew was a true Patriot.

  • las1

“Once our voices are heard, then democracy will happen”

What’s really interesting about this clip is how the language of the left is now thrown back in their faces. You could take this clip of Breitbart and substitute Breitbart for any couple of hundreds, if not thousands, of puffed up self important leftists and the language would be the same. The only difference is that when Breitbart mentions democracy… it’s true. When the left says the same thing about “democracy”… it utter bull sheit used for subversion and sedition. And to the left, Breitbart’s words are seditious and subversion against their cause.
