The silencing of Chief Liz ‘Running-Mouth’ Warren is all the rage this morning and different Senators are being asked to weigh in on it.
Senator John Thune was asked about it when he was on MSNBC today and he also defended the invoking of Rule 19, pointing out this isn’t Warren’s first warning on the issue:

Thune made it clear she was in violation of the rules but wasn’t as assertive on the rule actually being implemented, saying you could question the judgement of it being used to stop her from speaking. But he clearly wasn’t against it.
Even Rick Santorum played it down this morning on CNN, saying the rule had been evoked on him in the past and it’s not that big of a deal:
