Antonio Sabato Jr, who I’ve honestly never heard of before now, went on The View yesterday to discuss how he’s running for Congress in California. While he was there he was asked about his support for the wall even though he himself is an immigrant, as if the two are mutually exclusive. But he took the ladies of The View to school on immigration, making a good argument for why we need immigration reform and a wall on the southern border.

This is the problem with some liberals, that they conflate both legal and illegal immigration as if it’s all the same. So when Sabato points out that he believes America should take care if it’s own people first and that’s one reason we need a wall, Behar the ridiculous chimes in with this:
But if they felt that way when your family was coming over here you would still be in Italy.
But Sabato isn’t talking about legal immigration, he’s talking about illegal immigration and thus points out:
I came here legally. We had to wait in line and struggle and save a lot of money and so there’s people like that waiting in line. So, they deserve their chance. We need to legalize — I mean there has to be reform…but at the same time we need to protect our borders.
That’s just it. I have a friend of mine who immigrated here legally from Turkey and he absolutely believes that illegals should be deported and that we need to protect the southern border to keep people from coming here illegally. Because he spent a heck of a lot of money on becoming a legal citizen and he realizes just how much of a privilege it is to be here.
But these idiots on The View would have you believe both Sabato and my friend are hypocrites, when it’s they who are the true dummies here.
