The town of Rockford, Illinois has been the site of weeks of protests, riots and arrests, and Friday and Saturday were no exception. Seventeen people have been arrested since yesterday and the police have declared the protests a a riot.
A “Back the Blue” rally was held on Saturday morning and it was crashed by Black Lives Matter/ANTIFA, with sadly predictable results.
At one point, protesters attempted to overwhelm the police. That didn’t turn out so good for them. “Several people were detained as a result of the ensuing melee as the two groups met on the grounds of the Winnebago County Justice Center,” is how WTVO put it.

Police held a presser on Saturday detailing the violence and announcing the 17 arrests.
“We’ve tolerated people who want to push it right to the line. And now, they’re going to get arrested. They’re going to continue to get arrested,” fed-up Rockford Police Chief Dan O’Shea told reporters. “Officers showed tremendous restraint against actions that most people probably wouldn’t.”
Don’t you worry none about the thugs and hooligans. Democrat and former member of the Illinois House of Representatives Litesa Wallace is bailing everyone out.
Because that’s what the Democrats are about now. Not just encouraging and enabling and cheering violent insurrection, but paying to help it continue.
This is just one relatively small town in the midwest. This is where we’re at. But you wouldn’t know it if you watch CNN, which is 100% an enemy of the American people.
