This CNN reporter got assaulted last night in the disgusting Charlotte protests while he was doing on-air reporting. But then shortly afterward he said the same guy came up to him, hugged him and apologized.

I really wonder if it was the same guy, or someone else apologizing on his behalf. The reporter said he didn’t see the guy, so he doesn’t really know.
If it was the same guy, good on him for at least owning up to it and apologizing. But seriously, the fact that he did it in the first place just pissed me off, watching this as a viewer.
It’s time for Charlotte to stop putting up with these senseless violent protests.
