Congressman Roger Williams told his moving story a few minutes ago from being at the Congressional baseball practice this morning when gunfire erupted. He even breaks down and cries a bit when praising the Capitol Hill police officers who saved everyone’s lives.

I just wanna make the point that the clip below doesn’t do his answer on political rhetoric justice at all. When he was asked about political rhetoric and violence Williams said he really didn’t want to address it today and steered clear of connecting the two, pointing out that the man this morning had issues and that he didn’t feel his issues were even Republican or Democrat.
So when you watch this clip below, understand that he was not politicizing the shooting or blaming it on political rhetoric.
