The debate is over but enjoy this great video by Ben Howe:

“I’m a believer in knowing what you are doing” Priceless!
“I, er, uh, um………” Brilliant!
Dope and CHEnge
Had a future dream about Perry
With landslide votes, O’ with nary
He rode the white horse
Stomped Obama of course
Who committed both hari and kari
Effin brilliant, Rshill….frilliant.
You’re from up Nawth.
How do you think Perry will do with folks who are a little put off by that cowboy accent of his?
To me, it sounds normal cause I was raised around it.
[Even sound kinda like that m’self.]
But to folks in other parts of the country, it can be cringeworthy.
Bush was a transplant to Texas.
So his accent was a bit different.
Perry’s accent and his ways, are the real deal.
Au contraire little lady. I’s raised in the south by southern parents from North Carolina. We lived in South Carolina too…Myrtle Beach. I graduated from High Scool in Texas and went to two years of collage’ there, where I learned how to make a big picture out of lots of smaller pictures.
Heck no, I’m southern through and threw. My lovely bride is from Michigan. She made the fortuitous mistake of showing up when I was living in Florida. I nabbed/rescued her and brought her back home. I am the only one of 6 siblings and two parents that live North of the Mason Dixon line. I like to think I’m up here in Michigan waiving at all of them with that big Michigan mitt!
Accent Schmaccent! Obama’s already toast. Barney Fife could beat him.
Perry’s going to crunch him, punch him, munch him, then lunch him.
Wull’ell…that’s prolly why yew understand whut I’m saying when I type stuff here.
Yeah…I have to admit that I am a bit jazzed about the news that Perry is running.
He doesn’t seem to mess around.
Did you watch those two videos I posted on the Perry thread?
I really don’t think he had any intention of getting into this.
But things started getting so bad, so fast…that his wife said ‘get your butt in there and help our country’.
I didn’t see them yet. I prolly figured I’d seen them already. If they’re bold and fresh, I’ll watch them. If O’Reilly is in them, I won’t.
P.S. I really like the “prolly”. I feel like I can’t use it cuz it’s yours. Maybe I could borrow it sometime like I did above. I could put 3 “L’s” in it or something.
Naw…no big headed OReilly in either one of them.
They’re Cavuto interviews…and mostly all business.
The one about food prices is great!
An’ I can’t take credit for “prolly”…it’s been around for years.
Even tho that’s how I tawk sometimes, I rarely use it when I type.
But it looks kinda gurlly, so…use it at your own risk, Rbear.
Hmmm. Good point. Perhaps I’ll leave it alone unless I can find some html that’ll put a beard or a gnarly scar on it or something.
Enjoy the debate Perse! This thread will be on fire in a little while. I’m gonna rest my fingers so’s I can nail some trolls like Liberace played “The Impossible Dream”…oooh, dat’s gurly too. Damnit!
I love Texan accents and sayings. Here’s one for B.O. “The engine’s runnin’ but ain’t nobody driving.”
The difference between Paul and the other candidates is that they have positions and he has principles.
This comment following a story from the Iowa Independent the other day says it all:
“There are only two candidates: Ron Paul and Not Ron Paul.
If you like the TSA enhanced pat-downs, don’t vote for Ron Paul.
If you think endless, unproductive wars are a good and sane foreign policy, don’t vote for Ron Paul.
If you want the economic crisis to linger until the dollar collapses, don’t vote for Ron Paul.”
And if you want an immoral America, vote for Ron Paul.
I don’t buy that. We already have an immoral America. Bert and Ernie are about to wed, and do bong hits.
Centralization of power = corruption and immorality.
Roe v. Wade – before ruling – abortion was illegal in all 50 states.
Drug War – CIA now sending weapons over our borders – getting direct payoffs from drug lords. Corruption all the way to the top for years. Google Mena Ark.
And the biggest one of all – Federal Reserve loaning a fiat paper currency into the economy and charging interest on it.
Excellent article from the UK Mail (first one). Thanks
I really like that one too , it gives you a picture of what this country will be like if we have 4 more years of Obama !! SCARY !
he is not interested in success he is interested in transfomration
Thank You for posting this for us R. Scoop.
That’s a great video!
Thanks, RS…I hadn’t seen that one.
And thanks for the links to those articles…I’d seen the first one, but not the other two.
Obama is a failure because he’s a transformationalist.
Change. What we will have left after Obama’s presidency.
The live stream is sucking it on my end.
Huntsman gearing up to kick some butt in 4 minutes.
Pawlenty and Bachmann went at it huh? I think Bachmann scratched his eyes out.
Yeah! I couldn’t believe it!! He is making the whole debate about how different he is from Bachmann instead of Obama!! Wished he could stop attacking Bachmann!
It’s getting annoying to hear Pawlenty go after Bachman- so much.
Pawlenty is done.
So is Bachmann.
Newt’s done well so far. He just slammed Chris Wallace pretty good. That was fun.
He stuck his head one mile ahead of all of them!
Newt has always been the smartest guy in the room. Too bad he has so many flaws.
Lots of blood in the water already.
Chris Wallace is doing Nerobama’s work for him.
I take “The economy is in the crapper” for $600 Bret.
I LOVE debates but I hate squabling, hope the remaining time is debate time.
Santorum marked some points on foreign policy. Ron Paul, not so much!
For shame Fox News. I can’t stand Chris Wallace.
It’s starting to get good.
Teach Newt, teach!
WTH kind of a question was THAT to Michelle Bachmann?! Would you submit?! Because she believes in the Biblically correct way of marriage- holy smokes! Would any of these people submit to muslims? Because if any of you people who are side stepping THAT issue, you just might find out! Am I the only one who is disappointed in this whole debate?
There’ve been some dumb questions from the moderators.
That’s for sure!
Michele B. handled that question beautifully. I liked it. Not the question mind ya’ but her answer for sure. I’ll bet her husband is beaming.
I seem to remember that someone asked Mike Huckabee about wives submitting to husbands 4 years ago. He explained that husbands were also supposed to think about what their wives needed and wanted, too, and that marriage works best when both people are considerate to each other. Not surprisingly, the questioner was unable to understand this concept.
Unless 90% of the questions were releated to the Economy, Taxes, Entitlements or Jobs then it was a Waste of time.
From what I can tell (did not watch it at all) based on external reports alot of the questions where “gotcha” questions, like Gay issues for Bachmann, Foreign Affairs for Paul, etc
If Newt promises to never get on the couch with Nancy again I’d give him another chance. I would so love to see him debate Nerobama.
I think Cain, Santorum and Gingrich were good. Bachmann and Romney were okay. Huntsman and Pawlenty are toast. Ron Paul is a wild card. I thought he was awful on everything except the economy and even then I wasn’t really impressed. But he’s got a VERY dedicated core base that inflates his polling numbers, so he’ll remain in the picture for awhile.
I have to admit Ron paul comes off very Jeffersonian. It’s attractive especially contrasting him with Santourm. Santourm really irritated me tonight. He’s a neo con, which explains why he is so aggressive towards Paul. Bachmann did not do that good. Newt was mature, and made the attempt to rise above it all, but he’s still a progressive republican, and I don’t trust progressives at all (Closet globalists), but I think he did well. Huntman was weak, and only said one thing tonight that I took favor to, and that was his attack on the EPA. The EPA is a big part of the problem. Romney is always weak playing the safe card. I got the impression the mods put a vail around him. Cain is simply a businessman, and we need more than that. This isn’t a company. This is a government, and government is the problem.
Love the article you linked above about liberal dogma. A must read.
