WATCH: Here is Trump’s new attack line on Hillary Clinton

I’m not sure this is the best messaging for Trump, given how he always likes to insult people, but it is what he’s going with:

Calling Hillary a bigot doesn’t strike me as something that will help Trump turn his campaign around and win the black vote as he’s clearly trying to do. Trump always insults people. So I think people will hear it, dismiss it as more Trump crazy talk, and then just stop listening.

Hillary is a lot of things, but I’m not sure even I would call her a bigot. Yes she’s a typical Democrat, keeping the black man down, so to speak, so she and her ilk can stay in power. No dispute there.

But when many hear the term bigot, it translates to ‘racist’, and I don’t think people will be all that accepting of this characterization.

Who knows, I could be wrong. I guess we’ll find out in November.
