Joe, you’re so bad! Lol! :)

  • DawgfanInFL

Counting down, 25 minutes. Can’t wait to hear what she has to say…hahaha

  • Pyrran

This time, instead of handing out doctor lab coats, they’ll be handing out orange jumpsuits!

    • Fireplug52

You’re such a tease. If anything they will be handing out straight jackets for the Republicans because they are the epitome of crazy. They keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. I am afraid this charade is only going to get your blood pressure up because there are enough on both sides to exact a fraud just so they can go hmmph we tried our best and it wasn’t good enough. Then you walk away and wonder Whisky Tango Foxtrot.
As I heard one radio talking head say, because he is the first black president theý will do nothing that will damage his legacy. So word of advice, take a valium or some other medication and enjoy the show. Just color me skeptical.

If the administration hopes to avoid a drawn-out investigation, it would do well to be more forthcoming.
    Doyle McManus
    May 22, 2013
Message to the president: Resistance is futile.
    There
are plenty of juicy targets for investigators in the IRS scrutiny of
conservative organizations that applied for tax-exempt status, but the
most dangerous for President Obama is this: Did bureaucrats in
Cincinnati create this mess on their own? Or did someone in the White
House give the marching orders to target the president’s enemies?
    (Snip)

    • unclesamnephew

Valin while at the Tea Party demonstration in Cincinnati yesterday an IRS employee demonstrated his distain of his employer (we the people).  he had the gall to stick his fingers into his ears and play a moose (or mooslim)

       Trust But Verify!

  • strangernfiction

“The buck will stop with this committee.” — Issa
The GOP wants so badly for all of this to just go away.

  • bookmoviegeek

What about Obama’s campaign group becoming that charitable Action for American or something like that, which happen right after the election. They still use all the social media sites they did during the elections, still send fundraising e-mails. They should be investigated too.

  • colliemum

Oh yes, let Ms Learner’s right under the Constitution be honoured, while trampling the Constitutional Rights of American citizens into the dust!

  • ConservativeFromHell

They should give her immunity immediately so we can find out that Obama is dirty.  Then go after him.

    • strangernfiction

ConservativeFromHell Going after Obama is the last thing they want to do. If Obama goes down it will be despite the Repubicans.

      • DavidErlandson

strangernfiction ConservativeFromHell i doubt that!  I think they want Obama to go down badly!!!  He has discredited and humiliated our government nationally and internationally.  He is pushing a healthcare system that with aid of the IRS could destroy the Republican Party.  Obama needs to go, and the whole Country is beginning to figure that out!

        • strangernfiction

DavidErlandson strangernfiction ConservativeFromHell The party led by John “I absolutely trust Obama” wants Obama to go down badly? Well, they’ve got a funny way of showing it.

        • DavidErlandson

strangernfiction DavidErlandson ConservativeFromHell He’s looking for re-election and supporting Obama right now is not what all the cool republican kids are doing!

  • Valin

    Cummings warning about partisanship….That’s Rich!

    • Conservative_Hippie

      yup, very rich!

  • colliemum

So did I get this right – the Dems got the interview transcripts from the IG – but not the Republicans?

    • bookmoviegeek

colliemum yep. But can we really believe any of those answers?

      • colliemum

        bookmoviegeek
Thanks – I couldn’t quite believe my ears!
What about partisanship now, Mr Cummings?

        • Valin

          colliemum
          RACIST! :-)

        • bookmoviegeek

colliemum bookmoviegeek it doesn’t happen in this Washington anymore  not like it was before Obama, before Obama, something like Benghazi, the Ap, and this IRS stuff, would have both parties calling for impeachment, sure would have hard core supporters, but not like this. I’ve never seen a President so protected before Obama.

        • colliemum

          Valin
No, I’m just a swivel-eyed loon and fruitcake, lol!

  • DavidErlandson

Okay, let’s just PRETEND that Obama, and Holder were AMERICANS…  Let’s then pretend that America had laws to protect Whistle Blowers, the Free Press, and Free Speach!!!  Then let’s pretend, as Americans, they would then have to face criminal trial for breaking those laws alone…  What a fantastic imaginary world!!!

    • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

DavidErlandson To heck with Disneyland, I want to go to your “Imaginary World” :-)

For cripes sake stop bloviating and ask the woman some questions.  These pompous a-holes just like hearing themselves talk.

    • SheerPolitics

Les_in_NC  She plans to take the 5th.

      • Les_in_NC

SheerPolitics Les_in_NC I know, so let her take it and appoint the special prosecutor..

        • SheerPolitics

Les_in_NC SheerPolitics  Well it turns out this is just opening statements.

    • bookmoviegeek

Les_in_NC they can ask her. but she’s already pleaded the 5th, she’s not talking.

  • colliemum

Rep Lynch – also not mincing words, even threatening with special prosecutor – wow!

    • SheerPolitics

colliemum  Yeah, I wanted to check my audio. I couldn’t believe I was hearing a D from MA!

      • colliemum

        SheerPolitics
He knows full well that if they, the dems, don’t sort this out together with the GOP, chances are that a GOP Administration might do it to them – because the bad they do they always assume the other side will do as well.

        • SheerPolitics

colliemum    For dems, “bad” would mean finding out the truth!

  • Pyrran

They’re setting her up, so that she can’t weasel out and spin her answer.
    Good for Lynch!

  • DavidErlandson

if you dont answer us we will be forced to appoint someone else for you to refuse to give answers to!!!

    • SheerPolitics

DavidErlandson   They need to appoint a special prosecutor which will allow them to subpoena other witnesses.

      • DavidErlandson

SheerPolitics DavidErlandson i know.  Obama will keep them quiet no matter what the special prosecutor does!!!  They’re more afraid of him than they will be of the prosecutor

        • SheerPolitics

DavidErlandson    I know…they haven’t found Hoffa yet either.

      • strangernfiction

SheerPolitics DavidErlandson “The buck stops at this committee.” The GOP doesn’t want a special prosecutor.

        • DavidErlandson

strangernfiction SheerPolitics DavidErlandson God forbid they actually DO SOMETHING!

        • SavageOB1

DavidErlandson strangernfiction SheerPolitics If I may, I would like to add the qualifier ‘that doesn’t increase their own power or purse’!

  • bookmoviegeek

Oh wait, that was just their opening statements.

    • DavidErlandson

bookmoviegeek Dear God, it took four days for opening statements!!!!  It’s like it’s a small world at disney, 4 hours in line for a 3 minute ride that leaves you dissatisfied!!!  lmao

      • bookmoviegeek

        DavidErlandson LOL.

  • DavidErlandson

is it me, or does mr george look like he just smoked a fatty?

  • colliemum

    • Valin

      Conservative_Hippie
Well she said she didn’t. And I believe her….because Santa Claus said she is on the good list.

  • Les_in_NC

Okay, her pay should be frozen right now.

  • colliemum

Ah – she’s done nothing wrong, broken no laws, so therefore she invokes the Fifth Amendment.
    Astonishing.
Because we’re told that we have nothing to fear if we have done no wrong and must therefore be open in everything to the government …

    • Conservative_Hippie

She was “advised” by her counsel to take the 5th, therefore it wasn’t her personally taking the 5th!  /sarc

      • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

        Conservative_Hippie
        she’s just a puppet on a string.  /sarc

  • DavidErlandson

OK, SO NOW LETS DO TO HER WHAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN DOING TO THE PEOPLE SINCE OBAMA TOOK OFFICE…  GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT!!!  THROW HER IN JAIL!!!

    • SheerPolitics

  • DavidErlandson

    GET HER!!!

  • Conservative_Hippie

    Gowdy nailed it!

  • colliemum

  • Pyrran

    ruh roh.

  • SheerPolitics

Ask the questions–make her repeat that she’s take the 5th over and over.

  • HighontheTide

Time for the IRS and this Regime to “Get the Tea”

  • Pyrran

    Wowsers!

  • colliemum

Hah! Darrell Issa is not letting her get away with it, will seek counsel if her use of the Fifth Amendment was ok

    • Conservative_Hippie

      Agreed, that was good.

  • Pyrran

She’s obviously not an accomplished criminal.  I think her lawyer messed up by letting her make a statement.

    • No_BlahBlah

      Pyrran oh she’s accomplished alright,
      remember her opening statement?
she’s been embedded subverting the law for 30 + years

      • Pyrran

No_BlahBlah Pyrran I sure hope she gets a stylish orange jumpsuit.  Something with stripes and goes well with chains.

  • No_BlahBlah

    I’m STUNNED
can’t wait for smarmy three shoes jay carney to tell the reporters how MEAN and rude the republicans are

  • Valin

Given that she has already testified, could she be found in contempt of congress?

    • Conservative_Hippie

      Yes, IMO.

      • colliemum

        Conservative_Hippie
I hope she gets dragged in front of that committee again!

  • TinaG123

Issa should have listened to Gowdy!!!!

      unclesamnephew
      Why do you think that?

      • unclesamnephew

WolfieUSA unclesamnephew he could have and should have asked more questions and let her plead the 5th on each and everyone.  let us hear the questions you have mr issa

        • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

          unclesamnephew WolfieUSA
I agree with you on that, but a squish is a bit strong IMHO…  This inquiry is still only forming… He’ll get stronger and zero in when he has to.  I have hope for him yet…  Now if he punts… he’s a squish for sure!

        • unclesamnephew

WolfieUSA unclesamnephew i am okay with that.  but we will watching.  please define IMHO

  • colliemum

Jim Jordan also got it – it’s about the COnstitutional rights of ordinary people, not just those of Ms Lerner

  • No_BlahBlah

    Mr. Wolin,
Sounds like you might want to plead the 5th also as soon as you make your opening statement.

    • Pyrran

No_BlahBlah Wolin: “We don’t know nothing, we didn’t do nothing, we’re taking action…blah blah blah”

So much hot air… so few balloons!

  • DarkKnight2016

    I agree with Issa.

  • DavidErlandson

Of course Obama was outraged and put into actin actions to prevent this from happening in the future!!!  They had already completed their work for him, so he no longer needs them to do it!!  Obama, Holder, and everyone in the State Department needs to receive their pink slip, court summons, and court dates for treason against the people of the united states!!

  • colliemum

The POS ‘took immediate action’ – oh yeah, after he won the election, thanks to stifling the work of TEA Party people.

  • No_BlahBlah

    IS THIS A COMEDY ROUTINE???
HOW can gowdy and jordan keep from LAUGHING OUT LOUD???

    • DavidErlandson

No_BlahBlah because they are the joke!!!  You cant go outside of character!!!

  • Pyrran

Boy George has some ‘splainin to do.

    • DavidErlandson

Pyrran karma karma karma karma karma 5th amendment…

  • MontyRay

If you aren’t willing to answer questions to help the American people understand what happened, you should not be allowed to keep your post.  She should be ran out of DC.  I’m sorry, but the opening statement she put out was crass and in the American people’s face considering she planned to answer no follow up.

    • DavidErlandson

MontyRay she should be banneed from decent society!  I hear there are openings in Guantanamo!!!

  • Valin

Simple question time. Dose anyone know anything about this?
Please use small words…I’m not that bright.

    • DarkKnight2016

WolfieUSA You don’t get to decide who is deserving of constitutional rights.

      • DavidErlandson

DarkKnight2016 WolfieUSA That’s right!!!  You don’t get to decide!!!  ONLY OBAMA and THE IRS can do that!!!

        • DavidErlandson

DarkKnight2016 DavidErlandson WolfieUSA It doesn’t make it right then, and it isn’t right now!  WE NEED IMPEACHMENTS TO BRING BALANCE BACK TO THE FORCE!!!  NO MORE ANAKIN SKYWALKERS!!!  NO MORE BARACK “NOT EVEN AN AMERICAN” OBAMAS!!!  There needs to be balance and transparency in the Government!  There needs to be impeachment!  Holder and Obama need to go in order to restore the system of checks and balances.  Getting away with ignoring the constitution, even if Barack is on the level and not trying to be a dictator, will lead us to a worse and more dangerous leader who will continue o in Barack’s dedicated work toward destroying our constitution!

I wish.  I just think Anyone in office should be FORCED to answer questions about their activities.  If they refuse… OUT of a job that same day! Simple as that!

    • SavageOB1

WolfieUSA All gov’t employees should be made to sign a waiver giving up their 5th Amendment rights as it relates to the execution of their jobs and refusal to sign should constitute an immediate resignation of any and all gov’t positions. No lying, NO Obfuscating, NO BS!

      • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

        SavageOB1 WolfieUSA
Agreed!  They take from the taxpayer… They owe the taxpayer.  Truth and all of it… or hit the road!  Lie and hit the orange jump suit and a nice long stretch in jail.

  • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

Don’t know about you, but I had to stop the video… before my head exploded!  Anyone remember the movie Scanners?  Yeah… Like that…  There is only so much BS I can take before I hit the reset switch or BAM!  And I don’t want to go BAM! :-)

  • colliemum

‘It would be counter-productive to give ‘incomplete’ information to Congress’ – so we said nothing until long after the elections.
    Disgusting.

    • http://cfp4us.org/ WolfieUSA

      colliemum
Nailed it!  You have excellent observation and analysis skills mum! :-)

      • colliemum

        WolfieUSA
Age and cunning, Wolfie, age and cunning, that means I’ll always ask ‘what is this lying liar lying to me right now?’ when listening to politicians/adminstrators/hacks.

        • DavidErlandson

colliemum WolfieUSA and you weren’t already???  Obama should have finished that trust off five years ago!

  • Pyrran

George is a goner.  Well, he probably needs to lose weight anyway, so  being on the dole might be a good thing for him.
ONE, TWO, THREE, AND UNDER THE BUS HE GOES!

  • Pyrran

He reminds me of the principal on Family Guy.

  • bookmoviegeek

basically we didn’t want the press to find out before we had all our lies straight first.

    • toongoon

      bookmoviegeek
Pleading the fifth proves that lies weren’t quite straight yet but it still keeps the truth from coming out.

  • Pyrran

    Cummings is a turd.

  • BrianJones1

I’m SHOCKED that Cummings would ask these Politically-Motivated questions….SHOCKED, I TELLS YA!!!

  • bookmoviegeek

    so again rogue employees?

  • jr4less

you pay over 40% of your weekly pay check for this. How does that make you feel?

  • colliemum

Blimey – now Cummings also rips into Shulman!

    • Valin

      colliemum
Looks like Cummings is off the reservation.

      • colliemum

Valin Yep, he’s pretty p*ssed off – because he’s been lied to as well, and that’s actually bi-partisan, being p*ssed off about being lied to.

        • Valin

          colliemum
Congress is kind of funny about that. They have very little sense of humor about that.
The thing about this is even the Left 9or at least most of it) understands just how dangerous this is.

        • SheerPolitics

Valin colliemum  Congress can lie, but you can’t lie to Congress! You can do all kinds of things, but the cover-up is what gets you.

    • DavidErlandson

colliemum you are a bad man!!!  pass the cheeto’s!

    • toongoon

      colliemum
Maybe he is the high level fall guy?

      • DavidErlandson

toongoon colliemum Yeah, like Ollie North!!!  He wants to get his own tv show!!!

      • BrianJones1

    Loose the rub Mica,

But you’re over target here, Keep Going!

  • tinlizzieowner

“At 9:30AM this morning, Lois Lerner will testify (or plead the fifth) at a House Oversight Committee hearing on the IRS targeting Tea Party groups.”
She (and her lawyer) are apparently not that bright, or they are just that arrogant.
She opened by saying that ‘she would not answer ANY questions’, then affirmed (in other words ‘testified’) that that the paperwork put in front of her was indeed her prior testimony. Trey Gowdy was absolutely correct when he said that she self revoked her 5th Amendment right to self incrimination by doing that.
Unfortunately, she will get away with it because Cummings will carry her water because he’s no more interested in ‘getting to the bottom (actually the top) of this’, than any other Democrat in the Senate is, no matter what he says.

    • unclesamnephew

tinlizzieowner I am UPSET that issa allowed her to leave the room.  at the very least she should be forced to sit on a stool with a dunce cap on for the duration of this hearing

  • Pyrran

yes or no, Shulman.  Pretty simple really.  They should all just point fingers at each other in a round robin circle.

  • unclesamnephew

“they need not apply for 504″.  per tom z. of the ohio liberty co,  the IRS  tricked the tea party to apply in order for the IRS to mine information for the DNC

TinaG123 I agree, they already admitted they did it, now they should just own it.

  • No_BlahBlah

STUPID tea party, it’s their fault
    THANKS shulman

  • colliemum

IAW, according to Shulman, law-abiding TE Party citizens could just have disregarded the IRS investigations and gone on operating.
Yeah right. That’s what people do when the IRS audits them – they disregard it …

  • unclesamnephew

abolish the IRS!  I know it will never happen,  too many people make a living from the imposed complexity

Watching Dems spend the IRS scandal is funny. They know midterms are coming up, and this could and hopefully will lead to a takeover of the Senate and gains in the House.

  • colliemum

Ahaha – it’s the fault of “Citizens United”, and the SCOTUS ruling!Yes, Mr Connolly (D) – that’s what we wanted to hear! And – no resources –  rrrright, it’s the fault of the House GOP!

    • tinlizzieowner

      Les_in_NC
Obama was more than happy to take credit for Seal Team 6’s work in taking out Bin Laden (and exposing a ‘secret ops’ outfit to the kind of publicity worldwide, that helps get them killed). :-(

  • unclesamnephew

have you all notice that some of demo-rats seem to be a little bit concern over this?

    • bookmoviegeek

unclesamnephew They are concerned, I think only for the next election, since ObamaCare is crashing and burning, they need this to go away as quickly as possible, true for the Rino’s too.

      • unclesamnephew

        bookmoviegeek unclesamnephew agreed

  • steveangll77

George compares Tea Party to Terrorist.  Saying that Terrorist could be targeted.

  • bookmoviegeek

Issa nailed it. Most of these targeted groups, stopped operating.

  • Valin

    Justice delayed is justice denied

  • colliemum

So if, as Mr George say, these applications hadn’t been denied, but ‘only’ delayed, for years …
Issa rectifies: if an application had been denied, they could have been appealed – ‘delaying meant they’re screwed’.
Then he asks were the BOLOs for progressive groups? George says there were BOLOs for fraud schemes, for nationwide organisations, some others which he cannot describe yet …
So, says Issa, there were BOLOs for TEA Party but not for progressives? George cannot say … cannot give a definitive answer.

    • Valin

      colliemum
       FYI
“Be On the Look Out,” or BOLO
I had to look it up, so maybe others were wondering also.

    • steveangll77

colliemum He did force George to finally be responsive and admit that only conservative groups were targeted.
It is obvious that George is a Democrat and trying to protect the Democratic President.

Training manual for IRS.  For that matter everyone in the Obama Government.
Reruns of Hogan Heroes use Sgt Schultz as an example of best practices.

  • Pyrran

All this hearing has taught me is, the IRS needs to be dissolved and a flat tax or fair tax needs to be implemented.
That way, there will be no targeting and no more overpaid flunkies coming to Congress and quacking like ducks.

    • unclesamnephew

Pyrran oh oh!  you didn’t call in the duckie!  however too many people are making their living of the complexity of the tax code

  • 1 Proud American

I have never seen such arrogance and ignorance. Scary these people were or are in our government……

  • Valin

The question is, What if anything will really be done about this Fluster Cluck situation?

  • Valin

    FYI
    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/05/22/Report-Rogue-IRS-Agent-Claim-Unraveling
    snip
Swann reports that so far six IRS agents working out of the
Cincinnati office—which is the central hub for processing tax-exempt
applications—have been identified as sending scrutinizing letters to
    conservative groups. These include:
        Mitchel Steele-IRS Agent
        Carly Young-IRS Agent
        Joseph Herr-IRS Agent
        Stephen Seok-IRS Supervisor
        Liz Hofacre-IRS Agent
Ms. Richards (full name unknown)-IRS Agent
These agents report to different managers, with a territory manager overseeing those managers.
    snip
So who in the chain of command would have received all these
flags? The answer, according to the IRS directory, one woman in
Cincinnati, Cindy Thomas, the Program Manager of the Tax Exempt
Division. Because all six of our IRS workers have different individual
and territory managers, Cindy Thomas is one manager they all have
    common.
It turns out Cindy Thomas’ name is one we have heard before. The
independent journalism group ProPublica says in November of 2012 they
had requested information on conservatives groups that had received
    non-profit status.
Cindy Thomas, says Swann, is the highest-ranking employee in the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Department in Cincinnati.

Cardenas is an idiot.  He is assuming that no one understands the Federal Registry.  Once there it is the law of the land thus what he is saying is an outright lie.  That language was changed over forty years ago.  The law is not primarily not exclusively educational.

  • Valin

    Simple question time:
What exactly…legally does Social Welfare mean?

  • Valin

Lois Lerner has not heard the last of this.

  • Valin

Trust in the IRA! Yeah right.

  • colliemum

Gawd, trust a Dem congress critter to hark on about ‘abuse’ of that tax code, abuse by conservative groups, naturally.
Because prog groups of course never abuse tax laws or campaign moneys or use donors not being American citizens.

  • bookmoviegeek

why can they never seem to ask questions from the people who were actually there or had something to do with the “audit”/”investigation”

      bookmoviegeek
That is what is technically known as a very good question.

      • bookmoviegeek

        Valin bookmoviegeek lol.

    • colliemum

bookmoviegeek I have the impression that Issa will call some of them to another hearing.
This is not over at all.

      • bookmoviegeek

colliemum bookmoviegeek I hope they do, I’m more worried now than before, Lord. Watching our taxpayer money work is surreal.

  • steveangll77

Georges idea of an independent Audit.
Allow the Manager being investigated into every meeting.  RIGHT?

    • bookmoviegeek

steveangll77 apparently. their level of incompetence seems to know no bounds.

  • colliemum

Shulman even wriggles on questions on the constitution – as lawyer. Gawd. Shameful.

  • bookmoviegeek

are we even sure this guy actually worked for the IRS? OMG, “I believe I study the constitution in law school, but not sure? WTF?

  • colliemum

I find it reprehensible and disgusting that Shulman thinks questions about the Constitution are sort of funny ha ha.

  • HighontheTide

IRS MOTTO: Constitution…WE don’t need no stinkin constitution

    • bookmoviegeek

      HighontheTide lol.

  • steveangll77

George has absolutely no viable defense of his own actions.
Audit or not you do not allow someone into every meeting that oversees the entire team.  It totally chills any cooperation and thus makes the audit results just a repetition of what the manager is saying.
He would have gotten the same results with one meeting with Learner.  Aberrant.

  • bookmoviegeek

I think Greg Gutfeld needs to ban the word “Reform” its always reform this reform that, never fire, lose pensions, and or jail for those responsible for breaking the rules(laws).

  • colliemum

Gawd, Shulman has made himself totally unemployable now. He knew nothing of what his underlings did, he didn’t ask, he never followed up, and then he forgets everything, doesn’t know anything, can’t remember …
    What a pillock!

    • bookmoviegeek

colliemum I don’t know, he might get a “teaching” gig at some Lib Univeristy.

      • colliemum

        bookmoviegeek
This is true. He could teach Constitutional Law, seeing that he finds it so funny.

        • bookmoviegeek

colliemum bookmoviegeek Omg! clever you. lol.

    • HighontheTide

colliemum He could be the Democrat nominee 2016

      • colliemum

HighontheTide Yeah, or become Attorney general in Hillary’s administration …

    • Les_in_NC

colliemum Well, the person who wondered “What difference at this point does it make?” is the front runner for the dems in 2016.

      • colliemum

Les_in_NC Apparently there are whistleblowers planning to come forwards who will say that she provided stinger missiles to the rebels, against the advice of the CIA, and Amb Stevens was going to get them back, on her behalf.

  • No_BlahBlah

Good job, but don’t EVER forget

    FOUR DEAD IN BENGHAZI

  • colliemum

Ahaha! Darrell Issa does not adjourn the hearing but calls for recess – meaning Ms Lerner will have to come again, and this is not ‘the end’!

    • bookmoviegeek

colliemum Does the hearing have to restart today? or can it just stay active, until a later date?

      • colliemum

bookmoviegeek It stays active until a later date. That’s what I assume, because Issa is going to confer with counsel, along the lines Trey Gowdy brought right at the beginning, namely that she had given an opening statement and this meant she couldn’t use the 5th Amendment afterwards.

        • bookmoviegeek

colliemum bookmoviegeek thank you for the info, I know some of their procedures, but it can get a bit confusing.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/05/22/dem_congressman_if_irs_continues_to_dodge_questions_will_lead_to_special_prosecutor.html
    Democratic
Massachusetts Rep. Stephen Lynch warned that if IRS officials don’t
start cooperating more, “it will lead to a special prosecutor” being
appointed. “There will be hell to pay if that’s the route that we
(choose) to go down,” he said.
