Mike Ditka was interviewed by TMZ where he was asked about players not standing for the National Anthem, especially on 9/11:
As you can see Ditka doesn’t begrudge the right for these malcontents to protest even though he says he disagrees with it.
When asked if they should put it on hold for today, Ditka responds:
I’d like to see them put on hold every day. I mean there’s a time and place for everything. Before a football game is not the time and place for it. Period!
