Ted Cruz is out with a new TV ad over the weekend showing how Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are really just two sides to the same coin:
This is a good ad. It’s simple to understand and explains how Trump is a liberal on several key issues, like raising taxes and transgender bathrooms. It also mentions Trump’s support of the assault weapon’s ban in the 90s.
In an normal presidential cycle, the idea of raising taxes or advocating that men use the women’s bathroom would kill a candidate. For some reason that hasn’t been the case so far, but let’s hope Indiana shows us something different.
