Ted Cruz was in the Republican Senate lunch meeting with Trump today and gave his take on the meeting to reporters after it was over.

Cruz explained that he told everyone in the meeting about the HHS report that was released on his amendment, saying that it would increase coverage by over 2 million people and decrease premiums substantially, by over 7,000/year.
He also said he felt encouraged by the meeting, saying it was both productive and candid and that there’s a renewed sense now to get this done, that failure isn’t an option.
