Trey Gowdy said last night on Fox News that he’s definitely bothered by the emails that Trump Jr. released yesterday on his meeting with the Russian lawyer:
The last word that was cut off at the end of the clip was ‘yesterday’.
He admits that the legal aspect is concerning, but that’s outside of his and Congress’ purview.
But he really doesn’t like the fact that members of the Trump campaign seem to have amnesia when it comes to contacts with Russia. He called it a ‘drip drip drip’ that is once again undermining the credibility of the Trump administration.
He’s also troubled by the purported reason laid out in the emails for the meeting with the Russian lawyer, saying that’s more important than the meeting actually being about adoption.
