WATCH: Trump says he’s thinking about pulling ICE agents from California!

Trump said at the White House today that he’s actually considering pulling ICE agents out of California because they aren’t assisting them in any way with the problem of criminal illegals:

Trump was speaking specifically of MS13, saying that they have franchises in the city of Los Angeles and they are getting no help from the state of California.

He went on to suggest if he pulled ICE agents out of California, that crime would run rampant and in two months they’d be begging Trump to bring back ICE agents to help:

Frankly it’s a disgrace, the sanctuary city situation, the protection of these horrible criminals…in California and in other places.

If we ever pulled our ICE out, if we ever said ‘hey let California alone, let them figure it out for themselves,’ in two months they’d be begging for us to come back. They would be begging.

And you know what? I’m thinking about doing it.

He’s not wrong about California. They are now a sanctuary state and have ordered law enforcement not to assist the federal government. They even went so far as to threaten prosecution of businesses who aid ICE agents.

So while it seems drastic to pull ICE agents out of the state, in some ways I can’t blame him for considering it.
