WATCH: Trump Tells Reporters (Twice) That He’s Committed No Crime

Donald Trump told reporters today at Camp David that there has been no collusion and that he’s committed no crime.

But bad mistakes, he’s made few. I mean, I’m just saying. But no crime, he insisted. Twice.

“Just so you understand, just so you understand. There’s been no collusion. There’s been no crime. And in theory, everybody tells me, I’m not under investigation. Maybe Hillary is, I don’t know. But I’m not. But there’s been no collusion. There’s been no crime.”

(Mueller question is around 18:41 in the video.)

As I say, he’s made some mistakes. And had sand kicked in his face. One of those mistakes is his lashing out about things like this on Twitter. Another is probably the above statement which sounds a little defensively Nixonian.

But as for collusion, he’s right so far. So far, no collusion or anything even like collusion has been shown. Despite Steve Bannon’s insider opinion that treasonous meetings were definitely part of the campaign

Still, he’s come through. So far. You have to hand it to him. Bannon is down and out and Donald is still on top. That has to count for something.
