This is a really odd statement from Joe Scarborough this morning during their criticism of Donald Trump and how he mocked a Latina as “Miss Housekeeper.”
Watch below:
.@JoeNBC: Bobby Kennedy ‘elevates’ and ‘lifts’… We have ‘the opposite of that’ with Trump’s attacks https://t.co/PNfIMgGCGT

Joe was comparing Trump to a Kennedy, who he calls “uplifting,” when he said this:
“… he makes them feel like they’re part of a community with a hug and some positive words. And we have the opposite of that right here. Whether it’s a reporter with a disability, whether it’s a woman who’s overweight, or whether it’s somebody who just doesn’t measure up to what his image is, of of, what should be the superior race. It’s one after another!”
Once you say someone believes in a “superior race” you’re basically calling them a white supremacist and a step away from calling him Hitler. I mean why not just go all the way?
Y’all know how much I despise el Trumpo, but this seems a little irresponsible. Trump is a childish, infantile, ignorant, arrogant, self-centered, selfish, idiotic, authoritarian lout, but he’s not Hitler. Not yet, anyway. Maybe Joe is just bitter because his attempt to reconcile with his former BFF failed.
