This is so pathetic. The White House is making claims about teachers getting pink slips and air delays when traveling, but when pressed on these claims today, Jay Carney had no answers and subsequently tried to put the burden of knowledge back on the reporters – basically saying do your job and get on the phone.

Just when we think Pres Forsale 0bama & his camarillo can sink no lower, we are proven wrong. La Casa Blanca plumbed new depths with the ForSale meme.

Amazing what happens when some of these “journalists” are actually doing their jobs. Probably only temporary, they are still a little “butt-hurt”after Obama left them in the kennel during the Tiger trip.

    • http://twitter.com/standsomemore StandSomeMore

Wouldn’t it be awesomely ironic if the whole Tiger Woods snafu was what shocked the press into reality?

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/KYTC7EGQASGOTQYPY2KPC4XCZY Don

Evil on the magnitude of Obama and his sychophants can only prevail if the mainstream media has no integrity and refuses to seek the truth. Don’t expect the propagandists to ever stop licking their master’s boots. Obama owns them like the eunuchs they are.

    • PicklePlants

Are they finally waking up? This is the way the press is supposed to question dear leader.

  • http://twitter.com/standsomemore StandSomeMore

Translation: You, sir, will regret asking that question!

  • Sober_Thinking

Lol… Obama doesn’t need the lying liberal lapdog criminal MSM like he did before… they did their job just like good little toadies do and now that he’s been re-elected, he throws them under the bus. Hooray! They get a very small taste of humble pie!

Carney couldn’t find his hands if he was holding them. Dance puppet, dance.

  • Stehekin912

He tells them to get on the phone vs. going out into the field and checking some of this out for themselves? Anyone can be anyone and say anything on the phone. But real reporting? In the field? The MSM????? Naaaaaah

  • Sandra123456

Wonder if Jay Carney goes home and throws up daily over all the lies he has to say, or if he so used to lying now that it’s no big deal?

Nah, he probably sees lying as a means to an end. What was I thinking? He probably has no conscious now…

    • http://tinyurl.com/wwsotu Wolfie

He must have no soul either to stand there spewing lie after lie, coverup after coverup for this current regime.

  • http://navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

Or maybe Carney is just lying and should be called out about it by the reporters? You mean, reporters can actually challenge the White House? Who knew? You’d never know it judging from the last four years.

  • bjohnson55

    lies and more lies

Carney is always going to be Carney – he’s a toadie.

Isn’t it interesting, though, that Major Garrett, who left Fox news because he wanted to return to his ‘true love” – print media, is back in the White House Press Corps and sitting in the front row, for another news organization.

Perhaps, his leaving Fox wasn’t all about his love for print media after all.

    • clevonlittle

or maybe he got an offer that he couldn’t refuse………. it’s hard for me to criticize this particular line of questioning , he didn’t give Carney much room to wiggle. Garrett will end up with a Sunday morning show before too long.

      • Nukeman60

When he left Fox, he used that very line. He said he got an offer he couldn’t refuse.

He was just as good when he was with Fox in the White House Press Corps, but my post had nothing to do with his line of questioning. :-/

  • E. Lee Zimmerman

Again, another example of the War on Reality. Carney has longer been one to say what he believes, and it’s rarely factual.

  • Nukeman60

Am I seeing a slow trend here? First Bob Woodward, then Lanny Davis, and now someone other than Fox in the White House Press Corps all poking back at this administration. Is there water leaking out of this dike known as the Obama White House?

We are slowly winning the media war here. It’s been a long hard struggle since 2006, but the cracks are visible. The Dam just needs a few well-placed explosives and it will all come crashing down.

Where’s the rest of the Benghazi story? Now is the time to bring out in full force the gun-running aspect of the situation and shatter his d@mn dam once and for all.

Where’s the rest of the ‘Fast and Furious’ story?
Has Maj. Nidal (Ft. Hood) been forced to shave his beard and actually gone to trial yet?

      • Nukeman60

Good points. We should be hitting the White House with all of these at once. Watch the cracks grow.

        • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Stewie

The effect would be far greater than the effect of asking questions that are in the current news cycle. They’d be completely unprepared for it- If only we had a media.

0bama’s Sequester provides an interesting view into his management style. La Casa Blanca wrote Plan A for the sequester. Since 0bama’s Basij, aka MSM, always jumps on board, aided by the camarillo, Plan A always works even if it has to be hammered into place. Well, Plan A, shift-the-blame, is falling apart and there is no Plan B. In business, we always have a Plan B, and usually a Plan C, prepared. Now La Casa Blanca is going to have to prepare B & C on the run, which is bad, very bad. As it becomes clear that 0bama was going to roll the Republicans for additional tax, euphemistically called revenue, the salvage operation is going to plumb new depths in creativity, even for 0bama.

      • Nukeman60

Three things will be obvious. One, he will blame the Republicans. Two, he will definitely need more money for seperate vacations. And three, the 1% will need to pay for them.

        • Suzyqpie

I suggest the roorback has, this time, gone a bridge to far. Once shift-the-blame fails, the total oeuvre of 0bama is in jeopardy.

          • Nukeman60

As with the cut of the Emperor’s clothes, he has only been enabled by the whitewashing of the LameStream. Once they fall, we are back in business, boys and girls.

            • Suzyqpie

The media will travel the 7Stages of Grief. CBlow, NYT, indicates they are at #3, anger & bargaining. CBlow is just mad (anger) as he’ll that the Republicans didn’t capitulate to negotiations (bargaining). So Republicans rolled 0bama on this one and took his lunch money. Next, out will come the camarillo with shift-the-blame, followed by the Basij, aka MSM, looking around for who can dash to the cash register next. Woodward got all the press, whoa-is-me-the-beleaguered-while-I-make-a-fortune #4 is when the granades start flying.

“Jay Carney had no answers and subsequently tried to put the burden of knowledge back on the reporters – basically saying do your job and get on the phone”.

Hey Carney, how about doing your YOUR job and showing up with answers to a question, for once.

Things are getting really bad when I get the feeling that the ad below this video to click to tell Obuma no new taxes makes me wonder if it is the making of a new Obuma kill list. After what the Virginia R controlled Legislature and Gov. did this 2013 Session can any one or group really be trusted ever again?

    • Betsey_Ross

Funny you should mention that. I got an e-mail from Bill Bolling today asking if he should run for governor as an Independent. I was about ready to respond ‘NO’ when I had to fill out my name and address along with my e-mail address. Decided against it as your ‘kill list’ came to mind. He’s scouting around for support, but won’t get it from this neck of the woods.

  • clockwindingdown

First off carney tries to be little the news staff, he uses air traffic controllers in an attempt to prove his point, which until it happens is speculation, not “fact”.

Then carney tells them “The impacts of sequester are real”. When the media bring up previous statements of said claims and affects, asks for clarification regarding those statements, carney refers them to “the department of education and the superintendent of the school district for information”. Claiming he does not have that information, information he has been citing to demonstrate what the effects of sequester will be.

In other words carney is saying trust me there are effects of sequester, but do not ask me for proof or to back up my previous statements, do your jobs, but don’t ask me, but do trust me on this.

“I don’t have anymore for you on it”. Translation, crap they caught me, I better attack them, distract them, send them on a hunt, get out and do your jobs, end of discussion.

Jay Carney appears to be a snotty jerk.

    Speaking of the White House………
Carson: No sneak peek for Obama
By Molly K. Hooper, The Hill

The White House repeatedly asked Ben Carson for his speech before the rising Republican star criticized President Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast earlier this month.
Carson, a prominent neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins University, declined to do so, noting that he doesn’t put his speeches down on paper beforehand.
“I told them that I don’t have an advance copy because I don’t write out my speeches and I don’t use teleprompters …they asked more than once … I gave them the [Biblical] texts around which the remarks would be framed … I said read those texts, the remarks will be framed around those … that should have told them something,” Carson said in an interview with The Hill this week.

I guess Carney can’t get the questions from the Press Corps. in advance either. If he could read them off a teleprompter, or have them fed to him in advance like Candy Crowley did for Obama in the debate, he might to be able to answer one or two, once in a while. 😉 😉
