While I don’t agree that there was racial profiling, I must say that Charles Barkley pretty much nails it in this interview. Despite his belief that George Zimmerman was racial profiling Trayvon Martin, he also says that something flipped the equation and that he believes Trayvon Martin started trying to beat the hell out of George Zimmerman. In terms of the verdict, he says there just wasn’t the evidence to convict Zimmerman of anything.
He also said something else that I loved:
The main thing that I feel bad for is that it gives every white person and black person who’s racist a platform to vent their ignorance.
He also says that he doesn’t like it when ‘race’ is thrown around in the media because he doesn’t believe they have a pure heart or clean hands.
